Peternormal Activity
"Peternormal Activity" is the fourth episode of the fourteenth season of the animated sitcom ''Family Guy'', and the 253rd episode overall. It aired on Fox in the United States on October 25, 2015, and is written by Chris Sheridan and directed by Greg Colton.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title='Family Guy' season 14 trailer mocks NASCAR, 'Shawshank Redemption,' more )〕 The title is a play on the ''Paranormal Activity'' film series.
==Plot==
Peter, Quagmire, Cleveland and Joe are disappointed by a horror film and decide to write their own. They venture to the Quahog Asylum to brainstorm, where legend says it is haunted by a man with a hook for a hand. As they share their ideas, they begin to hear strange noises and footsteps in the distance. The four get frightened and try to evacuate, but discover they have been locked in. They crawl through an air duct, but it collapses and they end up in the basement, where they encounter the man with a hook. They flee past him and get outside, but realize it's four against one, so they attack and inadvertently kill him. Upon investigation, they discover he is a caretaker named Albert, and the hook is due to valor in the Korean War. Quagmire wants to confess the murder, but he is overruled. They bury Albert and his car, while making a pact to keep the murder silent.
Peter has a sleepless night and deals with coincidences that are similar to the circumstances of the murder. At the Druken Clam, Quagmire denies his involvement and reveals he forged an alibi, prompting Peter to return to the asylum to frame Quagmire for the murder. Once he's there, he finds that the other three are already there, all planning to frame each other. Before they assault each other with shovels, Peter sees this as inspiration for a horror film. Later, the film ''Cereal Killer'' is released starring John Goodman as Peter, they have a negative opinion of it upon leaving the theater. Afterwards, they see Albert in a newspaper as he is reported missing and revealed to be a Ku Klux Klan leader who stole war medals. This revelation soothes their guilty conscience. Back at the asylum, Albert's hook rises from the grave and his car door rises in the same way.
Meanwhile, Brian begins wearing glasses and acts more arrogant than usual, much to Stewie's annoyance. At a coffee shop, Stewie reaches his breaking point when Brian tries to pick up a girl with his ego, and vows to destroy the glasses. Stewie puts his plan into action at a sauna by having Chris steal the glasses, but it backfires when Chris locks himself, Stewie and Brian inside all weekend. Once the weekend is over, they break out of the sauna with a hazardous appearance and run into Mayor West. At the Griffin home, Stewie strikes Brian with a baseball bat, shattering his lenses, with its fragments going into Brian's eyes.
